Privacy Policy

Crew by ClubUp, LLC (“Crew”, “us”, “we”, or “our”) operates the Crew mobile application for employees (the “App”) and crewbyclubup.com website for Staff (“Site”), which together provide a system by which employees can receive their schedule and important messages from the club and staff. These services are collectively referred to as the “Services” in this Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy informs you of Crew’s collection, use and disclosure of personal information when you use the Services. Your use of the App or the Site reflects your acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any portion of this Privacy Policy, your sole remedy is to immediately discontinue using the App or the Site.

Information Collection and Use

We collect and use your personal information for a variety of business purposes, including to respond to your requests (for example, to set up an account), to respond to your inquiries, to provide the Services that you request, to communicate with you about our Services, Site and App, to provide you with information about our Services, Site and App, and to do all things necessary to administer our Services, Site and App and to manage, protect and improve them. By using the App or Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.“Personal information” is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact an individual. There are a few ways in which you may explicitly and intentionally provide us with, and consent to our collection of, certain personal information. The App and the Site provide you with the opportunity to create a user account and to contact us to request Services or information. In order to fulfill your request, we collect your name, phone number, email and/or physical address.

App Log Data

When you interact with our App, we as well as our service providers, may use assorted technologies that automatically or passively collect information about how the App is accessed and used. For example, when you access the Services by or through a mobile device, we may collect certain information automatically, including, but not limited to, the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device unique ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use and other statistics (“Log Data”). Log Data is generally non-identifying, but if we associate it with you as an identifiable person, we will treat it as personal information under this Privacy Policy. Please see the section below called Location Information regarding use of your location information and your options.

Location Information

Many features of our Services and App rely upon device-based location information. To provide such features, we collect, use, transmit, process and maintain data on the geographic location of your mobile device from which the App is accessed. We may use and store information about your location depending on the permissions you have set on your device. We use this information to provide features of our Service, to improve and customize our Service. You can enable or disable location services when you use our App or Services at any time, through your mobile device settings. Please be aware, however, that if you disable location services, certain features of our Services and App may not work as intended.

Site Traffic Data; Do Not Track Requests; Third Party Tracking

When you visit or interact with the Site, we, as well as our service providers and any third-party advertisers, may use assorted technologies that automatically or passively collect information (traffic data) about how the Site is accessed and used, such as Google Analytics. Traffic data may include, but is not limited to, browser type, device type used to access the Site (i.e., computer or mobile device), unique number assigned to identify such device, operating system, application version, click path taken through the Site, your use of features or applications on the Site, and other publicly available information (including sites visited before and after the Site). This information helps us improve our Site and Services. Traffic data is generally non-identifying, but if we associate it with you as an identifiable person, we will treat it as personal information. Unless your browser settings are configured to make your online activities and publicly available information about your online activities through the Site (such as traffic data described above) invisible to usage analytics tools, we do not presently have the capability to omit you from usage analytics run on the Site to the extent your browser only sends us a “do not track” message and does not otherwise screen you from tracking without any action on our part. Third parties, other than our vendors (such as our website analytics provider), do not have authorization from us to track which websites you visited prior and after visiting our Site. That said, we cannot control all third party tracking and there may be some third party tracking over time and across third-party websites that occur without our knowledge or consent.

Information We Share with Others

We may use or disclose your personal information to our employees and affiliates, to protect the security and integrity of Our Services, Site, and App, to correct technical problems and malfunctions in respect of the same, to technically process your information, to provide Services or to take precautions against liability. We also may provide your personal information to vendors who provide services on our behalf, to your company or organization if you use our Services under a corporate or other commercial account, and in connection with any Services you purchase from us, to your credit card issuer, credit reporting and fraud checking agencies as necessary, and to debt collection agencies if you fail to pay monies owed to us. If you request Services via a mobile device, your request will be transmitted via your mobile carrier’s network and your carrier may have access to it. Consult your carrier’s privacy policy for additional information. There are no limits on our ability to use non-personal information that does not identify you.We reserve the right to transfer any information we have about you in connection with a sale, merger, consolidation, change in control, transfer of assets, reorganization or liquidation of our business. We reserve the right to disclose any personal information as needed if that information is requested by law enforcement agencies or if we are required to do so by law, treaty, regulation, subpoena, court order, or by a government entity. We also may disclose your personal information to third parties if we have reason to believe that disclosing such information is necessary to conduct investigations of possible breaches of law, to cooperate in any legal investigation, or to identify, contact, or bring legal action against someone who may be violating our Terms of Use or any other agreement with us.

Advertising

Crew by ClubUp may allow for other companies to conduct advertising campaigns on the Site or App, or to deliver promotional incentives such as discounts for a particular golf course targeted to a specific user. If you click on any linked advertisements, you may leave our Site or App and go to websites that we do not control. If you decide to visit the third-party websites or advertisers, you do so at your own risk and it is your responsibility to read and comply with the privacy statement on those websites

The Site and App may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such other websites. Please read the privacy statements of each website you visit. This Privacy Policy applies solely to information collected by us through the Site. Any links to other websites are for your convenience and do not signify our endorsement of such sites or their contents.

Optional Messages

We may occasionally email you with information about offers or new services. You can opt out of these email communications by replying with unsubscribe in the subject line, or via an unsubscribe link included in such communications. However, you will continue to receive certain email communications related to your account including information regarding transactions and your relationship with Crew by ClubUp.

Children

The Site and App are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected the personal information of such a child we will take steps to delete the information as soon as possible.

California Privacy Rights

We do not share personal information (of California residents or others) with third parties for such third parties’ own direct marketing purposes.

Notice to Residents of Countries Outside the United States

Crew by ClubUp is headquartered in the United States. Personal information may be accessed by us or transferred to us in the United States or to our affiliates, business partners, or service providers elsewhere in the world. If you are located outside of the United States, be advised that any information you provide to us will be transferred to and stored in the United States and that, by submitting information to us, you explicitly authorize its transfer and storage within the United States. We will protect the privacy and security of personal information according to this Privacy Policy regardless of where it is processed or stored.

Policy Changes; Contact
